That’s more like it, Nathan, proper Lounge banter :good:

Would be funny to see a confrontation between Ricky and The Chief- will never happen though

Can I put Room 101 in Room 101 or will that cause a temporal paradox?

‘It is possible for two black holes to collide. Once they come so close that they cannot escape each other’s gravity, they will merge to become one bigger black hole. Such an event would be extremely violent. Even when simulating this event on powerful computers, we cannot fully understand it. However, we do know that a black hole merger would produce tremendous energy and send massive ripples through the space-time fabric of the Universe. These ripples are called gravitational waves.’

My own thoughts on the more interesting situation where both black holes approached each other of identical size ( hardly likely ) I predict there might be something of an atomic fight with explosive imbalances occurring until one hole became the slightly larger and subsumed the other. Presumably holes become larger by drawing in nearby stars and even galaxies. Guesswork on my part really as is outside my knowledge and expertise.
I do think it is relevant when considering room 101 where matter vanishes on entering the room or space – very similar to a black hole.

Too deep for shallow me, gamble.

I’m still coming to terms with the temporal paradox in Day Of The Daleks in Doctor Who in the early 1970s.

I would gladly put all talk of covid into room 101, or a separate section/folder for it.

I am still trying to find a connection between the stone monoliths in Stonehenge, the three monoliths in 2001, and the ever increasing Google monolith. There may be a communality or link but nothing obvious in the structures.

Well, gamble, the first one is explained in “The Time Meddler,” in the William Hartnell era.

Having only taken Physics to O Level, and having walked out of the exam to be able to focus on the monster bag of mint imperials I had with me, all my scientific “knowledge” is based on early Doctor Who serials.

I have tried to watch 2001, but my always limited attention span let me down when the movie cut from the black monolith at the start to the space station very early on.

I suspect you’d unwittingly create a larger, multi-dimensional, spiritual space called Room 202

That said, the number 202 is referred to as the Angel Number…

But according to a new paper 303 it theorises that the origins of the universe predict that time itself will end in just five billion years— coincidentally, right around the time our sun is expected cough up and die. The prediction comes from the theory of eternal inflation, which says our universe is part of the facebook multiverse.

202 Ghost is fascinating in that its angels recommend individualism against the greater good of civic duty, but keeping the two cleverly in balance. A new liberalism but with the centre not forgotten.

Thank you Ian for your inspirational firestarter thoughts on room 101, it has kept me up until nearly 4am, but has all been extremely fascinating and well worth the lost…
