I like to put Bookmakers who close you account and say that you need prove on your identity to reopen it. During lockdown when no racing was taking place, I decided not to bet, as I only back horses. So my account with Paddy Power was shut down. Recently I tried to reopen it, but they want some form of official ID. Why? I’ve nothing in the account, the only money I put in is mine, the only money I’d take out is my winnings (when I occasionally win). And I’m not a massive bettor, just once a year around Grand National, otherwise about £20 on weekends, based on my selections in the competitions here. I now bet with Bet365, who instantly credit my bank account with any winnings the moment I withdraw it from them.
Away from Racing I like to put people who selflessly park in disable spots who are not meant to park there.
