Hi all
Dont know if you can help me with this but am trying to remember the name of a horse Roger Charlton trained in the mid 90’s.
The horse was a colt and think he was by Machiavellian. If i remember correctly he showed some promise as a 2 year old but didnt go on to fulfil it.
Has been bugging me all morning so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Saw his debut at Salisbury and his Sirenia Stakes win at Kempton and he did look good at that stage. But like many by his sire, he proved to be a fragile sort.
I remembered him mostly because the name was such a clever one for a son of Machiavellian.

March 25, 2008 at 17:47 #153740Almost as good as Blood Money, sired by Dracula.
Love it when a bit of thinking goes into the name.

You’ll like the thinking by the Freedman family that went into the naming of a filly by Dancing Brave out of Shorthouse that they bred at Cliveden Stud.
They called her Lowawatha.
