Grade 2 over 3m, surprised not to see a thread here on it.
The Last Cloud, close in the Sharp and then outpaced in the 2m Formby, is up in trip and looks very interesting at 18s. And Paul Nolan sends over Thedeviluno, up another half a mile in trip after coming second to Doctor Steinburg at Navan in a Grade 2, having beaten Skylight Hustle in a maiden at Gowran in November.
Rocking Man could be anything for Sam Thomas, and it’s clear they have had issues with him judging by the infrequency of his previous runs.
As an aside I wonder if anyone has any news on last year’s winner Yellow Car? From the MacPherson/Killahena yard, Yellow Car went on to finish a commendable fourth in the Albert Bartlett at 33s but has not been seen since.
January 23, 2026 at 19:01 #1751366I backed Get On George last time out at the course and I’m hoping he can stay the extra five furlongs.
