I am afraid I wasn’t on Rising Star (who was?); notwithstanding this, I am delighted for connections; it warms the cockles of my heart to think of how today’s win may have made up for the awful disappointment they must have felt when Rising Star trailed in last of nine in an Ascot mile in May.
