Old school NH owner – not many of his profile (if any) still left now, hopefully his colours will continue to grace our courses for many years to come. RIP

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
One who loved the National and you knew any entries at Aintree was serious so could be relied upon from an Ante Post point of view. Many Clouds was his last winner (I think).
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.

One of the best owners of the sport there has ever been. Loved his horses. And had some good ones too.
RIP “Mr Grand National” … it’s great that he achieved his dream and repeated the feat twice more with 3 super horses.

Totally agree with this. Old school grafter and a fantastic owner who adored his horses. A sad loss.
Very sad news, he always came over as very genuine and You never heard a bad word spoken about him. RIP
Terribly sad news for friends & family. Always came across a decent and genuine man, who worked hard for his money, and spent it supporting PNE & NH racing.
There are a dearth of similar owners in NH racing……
Just seen the video on RTV on him with his old warriors at home on the isle of man , also showed Many Clouds grave , he made sure he went home to the isle of man to … There really is only JP left now
