Does anyone know what the plans are for this horse? Is he likely to turn up at Aintree?
I did sit up when this one cruised in at Carlisle last month and then the runner up storms in by 16 lenghts next time up.
Obviously cut in the ground looks as though it suits, as it does with most Robellino’s, but I’d be very interested if he turns up at Liverpool.
March 20, 2011 at 18:19 #346421^^I know he was entered for the DBS sale at Newbury this month.
I don’t think he was sold – a customer told me that he wasn’t sold for about £90,000.
Of course, the horse is very familar to me. My friend (Rob) and I (Richard) work together and noticed the name of the horse. Unfashionable connections. Big price. Couldn’t fancy it – not even a sporting few quid on its debut.
What happened? The bloody thing finished second at 33/1. Next time? It probably ran above itself, we said. Won at around 8/1, if memory serves me well.
I have no idea what the plans are for the horse, but he clearly has ability.
March 20, 2011 at 18:49 #346431I see the Hemmings owned runner that finished behind him was runner up in the finale at Carlisle this afternoon, running on at the end.
You do wonder whether Carlisle NHF form is up to much but the form is beginning to stack up.
Interesting he was up for sale and I suppose if someone isn’t willing to pay 90,000 then he’s not worth 90,000. Thanks for the info anyway, v.interesting.
