Bob Cooper on ATR has informed us all that Richard Pitman is 65 today.

Coincidentally (?) a certain Richard Pitman owns a horse running in the 3.10 chase at Folkestone today, Ask The Gatherer. Only his second run ever over fences today and stepped up from 2m 6f on soft at Towcester last time out.

The Raceform comment for that run contained "ran on past tiring rivals at the business end".

Its a completive race but 3m1f, suitable ground, unexposed, owners birthday, Llewellyn trained…

    10.0 on BF now.

Jolly good. I make that retirement age – can I have his job now?

I would have thought that was well used comment at Towcester.
