Thanks for the videos Simon, Hoiles seems really down to earth. He sounds very appreciative of his lucky break but he still had to have the gumption to take the opportunity and go for it. Also a very genuine racing fan. I liked his story about the crowd being so buzzed up during Denman’s Gold Cup and reacting to the commentary.

Richard always comes across as a genuine person and a genuine lover of the sport. Plenty hard work to get where he is and to maintain his position and he is very deserving of his success. We are spoiled for good commentators in this country I think.
