I’m still nibbling the 9’s but they need a decent striker.

July 17, 2013 at 10:37 #445862Members of my family have season tickets at the Madejski, and the general opinion is that Reading might be a little bit off a promotion side this coming season. Things fell their way a couple of seasons back and I think they would need to be better than the 2011-12 team to go back up.
I should add that as an exiled Royal I do hope I’m wrong and that they win the league with plenty to spare!

July 17, 2013 at 11:27 #445867If Pavel Pogrebnyak stays he will score goals but they need someone else up with him, rumoured that Gary Hooper might join would be ideal but if that does not come off and they lose Pavel they wont get enough goals to challenge. I’m keeping my fingers crossed at the moment Rob.

September 20, 2013 at 10:10 #451841Defence has been good apart from the collapse v Watford. Might just be a striker light which was the fear but still in with a chance of top 3 although need to improve.

December 4, 2013 at 00:03 #460731A better night for Reading all round. Not entirely out of the hunt to win it but probably looking at the place money at best being realistic.
