I’ve recently change my selection process for horse racing using some of the guidance from the guys on this site (you know who you are).

I know a lot of you compile your own stats (I’d like to start but a bit stuck) so I wondered what you thought of inform racing and is this any good. My thoughts are that it takes away some of the fun but they do quote very good strike rates.

    Thanks

You are really better off compiling your own ratings, start off with something simple and work on it. It can be a lot of work if you try and start off doing something that’s too ambitious.

    Hi 1Fout

producing your own ratings is a NR. Put your faith in RPRs and Topspeed, but make sure they are relevent to the distance & going of the race in question.

It’s hard taking on the rest of the world single handed. There will only ever be one winner.

ps Never listen to tipsters opinions of their own performance.
