He is a younger version of McCririck – all about hype and exaggeration.
That is a great insult to Big Mac.

Television & Radio Industries Sports Presenter of the YearI’m not a fan of Big Mac’s style, but it’s a persona, it’s how he chooses to present himself, and he seems to do alright out of it. A lot of what he says makes sense, and he can act intelligent when the need arises.
Tango-man…….he has no redeeming features. He speaks like an excited ten year old and his vocabulary isn’t any better. My pet peeve at the moment is when he says a jockey has given "a million percent".
Very clever…….Surely half of what he says is either tongue in cheek or just hyperbole? I think you take him a bit too seriously.

I honestly think he’s just not got the intelligence to come out with anything better. I imagine he does know he comes over a bit of a prat but I don’t think there’s a damn thing he could do about it if he tried. He is just a prat.
Sorry. I shouldn’t say it but he gets right on my tits!Chapman is the best interviewer on any racing coverge in England or Ireland-he is the only man who gets trainers to consistently offer up decent information.I thought his interview with Willie Mullins last Sunday was excellent.
