A stunning performance, his acceleration between the last two hurdles was electrifying. Definitely the best since Istabraq, if he stays sound he may emulate the great one.
May 7, 2011 at 04:45 #354219McCoy was a reluctant leader aboard Binocular – who jumped markedly out to his left on occasions – in what was a far from satisfactory race from a tactical perspective.
Whilst Hurricane Fly was hugely impressive yesterday, it did not provide conclusive proof that he would be a superior horse around Cheltenham to Binocular.
Hurricane Fly is the one to beat next season, but Binocular is a massive price at 14/1 and I wouldn’t write him off just yet.
May 7, 2011 at 09:06 #354237Yeah agree with that Bos. Binocular was like a fish out of sea making the running and needed a Overturn or a confirmed front runner in the race to bring out the best in him. Why was he jumping left handed, unlike him, Was he a tired horse or just didn’t fancy it in-front? Ran on well once Menorah took over. That said I don’t think it would of made much difference to the final outcome because Hurricane Fly was sensational.
Charles Darwin to conquer the World

May 8, 2011 at 21:14 #354487Binocular fans are so blinded it is staggering.
Under no circumstances will Binocular ever beat Hurricane Fly ever!!!….Binocular is without doubt the most patchiest performer in History. Binocular will be up their with Katchit and Sublimity in the league of Champion Hurdlers.
Where Hurricane Fly will be up with Istabraq and with so much time on his side as a 7yr old he could surpass the great horse
