    who are the Beetle N Wedge Partnership ?

    they have a maiden running today that was purchased for 260k, an increase from 40k as a yearling, though the RP shows the buyer as Malih Al-Basti – who is he also and what is his connection to the Beetle N Wedge Partnership ?

    i looked for other horses owned by this partnership and came up with Bayeux (among others) which although was owned by them, began it’s racing career as a winning 2yo for Sheikh Mohammed, then ran for this partnership and is now running as a 6yo gelding in America for Michael Tabor – so i stopped looking at other horses owned by them as it didn’t tell me anything

    any ideas ?

    Malih Al-Basti owned Fantastic View who was trained by Richard Hannon and came second in the RP Trophy behind American Post. I don’t know who he is, but he’s obviously got a few quid.
