I dont back at that type of price myself frenchy
I dont expect him to be fully wound up but still expect him to win
Id be pretty dissapointed if he couldn’t beat that lot even 85% fit
If he was to lose then the jury is firmly out and id be definitely wanting to see a huge step forward in the Lockinge to be bullish about my bet for this
April 23, 2021 at 15:05 #1537597Perfect little prep for the Lockinge and Queen Anne
Gosden saying he’s far from fully fit and will come on for the run
Will take some beating this season
April 23, 2021 at 15:10 #1537598“Daddy Godsen says”. Must be right then.
BUY THE SUN
April 23, 2021 at 15:13 #1537599Might try to get PP priced up to win the juddmonte International
From what JG was saying they’ll try 10f after ascot which makes sense from a stallion perspective

Best flat horse in training?
Could be by the end of the season
May 15, 2021 at 16:00 #1541137Shame we don’t get to see him face Ghaiyyath in the juddmonte
May 15, 2021 at 16:06 #1541138Be nice if he met Love at York or Leopardstown.
BUY THE SUN
May 15, 2021 at 16:08 #1541140Its not certain Palace Pier will step up in trip.
If Mishriff and Lord North mop up their 10f races there is probably no need and he can go to France for the one mile Group 1 after Ascot.
May 15, 2021 at 16:11 #1541141No real need to step up as has the mile division by the balls
Blackbeard to conquer the World
May 15, 2021 at 16:34 #1541144He’s got the division by the balls because he’s very good but also because the division depending on how the 3 year olds shape up this season is balls. Lord Glitters the only other G1 winner in that field today and his last (only) G1 over here was 2 years ago now. Hard to see the Queen Anne being much better quality wise, if its a bog The Revenant might come over but otherwise he’ll go off at 1/7 in a very small field. I like seeing good horses but I like seeing them pitted against other genuine G1 horses and he won’t be until the Sussex at the earliest if the 3 year olds are any good.
May 15, 2021 at 16:38 #1541145Hes a 125-130 horse in a division of 115 horses
Main reason why I was keen on him
May 15, 2021 at 16:43 #1541146I suspect we’ll never see him record a performance above 125 unless we do get a good 3yo as there is nothing in the race against him to justify that level of rating no matter how easy he beats them. At a push you could put him at 127+ today if you felt Top Rank had run his race but that would also rely on believing Lady Bowthorpe is suddenly a 121 mare which I highly doubt.
May 15, 2021 at 16:50 #1541147Yes hed have to rout them to get to 130 but he doesnt look the type to win by that far
June 9, 2021 at 13:21 #1544552Only 12 left in
Palace pier scaring plenty off
June 14, 2021 at 23:42 #1545476Had an Antepost on Sir Busker here, as impressed enough with him last year.
Obviously hard to see Palace Pier beaten here, but hoping to see Sir Busker make the frame, so added a few quid EW.
Also think Regal Reality and Bless Him could outrun their odds.
Sir Busker 25’s EW, and 33’s
June 15, 2021 at 12:29 #1545564I have my ew on Lope y Fernandez at 14s with b365. He is a decent horse and should like the ground.
June 15, 2021 at 12:41 #1545571I’m with you on Sir Busker Bobby, I had him on ante post (in the ante post thread)
a while back. Hard to see Palace Pier being beaten but if SB is near enough
with a furlong to go he’ll finish with a good rattle.Sir Busker 40/1 ante post, 20/1 today
