Rosallion for the win but I’ve got to have a bit on my old pal Cairo at 150-1 ew.

The tipsters tell us Docklands is the one to be one. I had a small EW stake on him at 14/1.
Also backed Diego Velazquez at 12/1.

    Which tipsters are they, Ruby?
    Not this one.
Docklands might be better at Ascot than anywhere else and for all he’s more likely to run to his best than any other horse in this field. But would need to be by some way better than he’s ever been at the age of 5 or for almost all his opponents to be below their bests in order to actually win. Which is why I’ve got him as a fair win only odds of 66/1 in the above 100% book.
So instead of pretty much chucking away the win part of an each way – might be a better Place Only bet if able to get a fifth the odds of the win.

Docklands is almost 3/1 a place (3.9 available), so imo a better bet than 14/1 ew. :rose:

Agree with the 3/1 place only idea. How about Quddwah at 14/1 a lightly raced horse that has won twice at the track and would prefer faster going?

You’d want 125/1 to win at Goodwood alone. Slight exaggeration maybe but he’ll be double figures I reckon, 3 year olds will join the fun and this horse can only win at Ascot. Well done Ruby anyway, great start to the week.
