Ben, I focus on group 1s because the race trends are very strong in comparison to other grades. Last years Queen Anne wasn’t actually that bad on ratings and the third highest rated horse won at 20/1, but Jack is right they make for fascinating betting heats without standout horses. I think the game needs big headlines with amazing horses but from a betting perspective we can’t really win money when there is a standout horse. The trends are very strong this year for Circus Maximus and very weak for Terebellum. The trends are also strong for Roseman if it does go soft next week.

Jack as I base everything off of trends , Terebellum has mountains to find to win here, plus I agree with Tinman the Newmarket race was run likely to be completely different to how it will be run on Tuesday. That said I saved on her at 10s last week as I always take note of big gambles, right now though her price is ridiculous

AOB on Circus Maximus 3 weeks ago “he’s in great form at home”, AOB yesterday “He’s just about ready to start back”

FFS! Drifting like a barge this morning!

This is very very open now, I don’t think Mohaather stays personally, Space Traveller is a massive price at the moment and I’ve also now backed Roseman, as the ground is softer than Good. His run at the back end of last year gives him a big chance now.

Cracking betting heat this, but not an easy start!!

Mohaather looked to stay fine to me on very bad ground in the QE2

He got checked at a key point and crowley was very easy on him when he realised he couldn’t win so he could easily have finished closer

I’m ignoring all form at Champions Day, the ground was diabolical!

Surely that makes it better evidence that he will stay the trip today

Personally i would agree her price is short. I guess that’s due to the ground now softening a tad and her staying further well.

Frenchy, mountains to find? Is a mountain 5pds lol?

I don’t think you can tell personally if the race form is not to be trusted. Horses can always run for a mile. He’s out of Showcasing as well which doesnt scream stiff mile at Ascot

Completely forgot I had a couple of quid on roseman at 18.5 on the exchange yesterday

I’d be dissapointed if one of mohaather, roseman, fox champion or terrebellum didn’t win tbh

Dont think the more exposed horses set a very high standard at all

I think Mustashry is a Strong ew bet with 4 places at 14/1. I’m certain he will go close here.

Already backed Circus Maximus at 8/1 (in ante post thread) but I can’t
let the 80/1 5 places with William Hill for the Mark Johnston Marie’s Diamond
go untouched He will have to step up from his listed win last time out, but he did win that with
some ease. I think he is well overpriced and I’d be delighted if he came 5th.

Good job with Circus Maximus chaps and very cheeky BigG with Maries Diamond!
