Everann @ 33’s
A big step up just now beaten only 1/2 length into 3rd. The trainer has been saying he is a far better horse on soft ground and if he get’s that you could imagine him possibly finishing in front of Inspiral next time if she runs.
August 14, 2022 at 15:38 #1611082A lot could change depending on what does or doesn’t happen at York on Wednesday
August 14, 2022 at 20:23 #1611114The Jean-Claude Rouget-trained Erevann finished a narrow third and the trainer warned he will be even better as a four-year-old next year, with a tilt at the Prix Daniel Wildenstein at Longchamp on Arc weekend lined up next.
“He’s a fantastic colt. For a moment I believed he was going to do it,” he said. “He’s not as race-hardened as you need to be for this type of race and is still quite raw. I don’t think he’ll run too much more this year. One thing is for sure, he has a big career ahead of him.”
One to follow for next year it seems as those are glowing words from the trainer
Doesn’t sound like he’s coming here though
September 28, 2022 at 23:47 #1616237I think it’s unlikely that she’ll run here after her engagement this weekend, but I’ve taken 12-1 Saffron Beach
September 29, 2022 at 00:10 #1616240I believe the breeders cup has been mentioned for her
But if she wins easily on Saturday they will likely be tempted by this
October 9, 2022 at 19:05 #1617952Inspiral evens. Looks like the race will cut up sufficiently for her to go and win without the French horse.
October 10, 2022 at 18:06 #1618021Erevann withdrawn – unlucky OP, the idea was good, he’d been as short as 5/1 subsequently.
Inspiral evens ante post?
No, thanks.
She’ll be similar on Thursday and she’s capable of running a bad race.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"October 10, 2022 at 19:28 #1618037There may be rule 4’s with rain forecast. Modern Games likes it firm. She’s been saved and trained for this, who’s going to beat her?
October 10, 2022 at 21:32 #1618043The Revenant won in 2020, was fourth to Baaeed last year and I thought he was given plenty to do against Erevann in the Prix Daniel Wildenstein.
If the rain comes, he must go well.
And there’s always a chance the filly will beat herself.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"October 10, 2022 at 22:43 #1618050So you reckon The Revenant will win. We will see :o)
October 11, 2022 at 00:09 #1618053No, I think The Revenant is better value at six times the price.

He needs a bog at this level
October 11, 2022 at 06:02 #1618056You could be right, FF – latest going stick reading suggests to me it’s more Good than Good to Soft and no rain forecast until Thursday (6mm predicted).
Inspiral is the most probable winner on overall form, but she’s been known to run a below par race and I just don’t think she sets the sort of standard Baaeed and Palace Pier set last year.
At six times the price, I’d rather take a chance elsewhere.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"October 11, 2022 at 08:58 #1618059One below par run – 2nd run after an injury layoff. Which can happen due to ‘the bounce factor’. Put it behind her in race 3 in a group 1 with Erevann back in 3rd who has won since. She doesn’t have a Baeed or a Palace Pier to beat in this race that i can see. I can understand if the price doesn’t appeal but, as you don’t like each way bets, you might wanna save your money ;o)
October 11, 2022 at 11:13 #1618067Mike gets bold when he’s tipping an even money fav – love it!

Go Inspiral!
October 11, 2022 at 19:06 #1618126No idea where the BHA got this from – I live nearby and a mere 1mm currently predicted Thursday and a dry day on Friday.
Starting to think Modern Games might instead be the danger to the “filly who cannot possibly get beat!”
