Strange how he was keen off a quick pace around Cheltenham but relax going 3 mile pace here

70s for Fury Road is a bit of an insult. I backed him ew and also 7/2 with Paddys to win without GDC+BMG.

Haven’t heard any “lost the Boodles off 126” lately
the horse was well in but a little boy with a snotty nose at the time,
    big boy now…

Like I’ve said before the Cheltenham Gold Cup is a race a lot of horses are never quite the same after historically.

“Cheltenham Gold Cup winners who, since I first watched the race in 1975, I’d say were never quite the same again: Ten Up, Royal Frolic, Davy Lad, Midnight Court, Master Smudge, Little Owl, Silver Buck, Bregawn, The Thinker, Charter Party, Norton’s Coin, Garrison Savannah, Cool Ground, Jodami, The Fellow, Master Oats, Mr Mulligan, Cool Dawn, Looks Like Trouble, Kicking King, War Of Attrition, Imperial Commander, Long Run, Bobs Worth, Lord Windermere, Coneygree, Don Cossack, Native River, Minella Indo, A Plus Tard.

    It’s rather a lot!”

The Gold Cup curse at it again.

A deserved big win for Martin Brassil though. And the Ultima form looks super strong now. The National winner and the Punchestown Gold Cup winner. Monbeg Genius was only two lengths behind and was favourite for the Scottish National, but was pulled out. Imagine if he had actually won it.

Galopin has gone from a fast horse to one that needs the Cheltenham Gold Cup distance..
Brilliant result for the winner, never saw that coming

    “Time will tell”

It told already for anyone who bet the odds on GDC there.

The Cheltenham bumper was a bit of a mincer so I’ll add King of Kingsfield ew to my Tullyhill bet.

“It told already for anyone who bet the odds on GDC there”.

Risk you run backing odds on at the end of the season for races that are for all intents and purposes an afterthought.

Wasn’t expecting that; presume technically not a novice as won over fences in France as a 3-yr-old.
Horses aren’t machines, but GDC a bit disappointing.
