    Thanks DBR.
Firm Footings bled according to stewards report
    Selections for Saturday
Hardline ew whatever I can get- should get his ground at last
Aione 6-1 win Has good staying hurdles form, was once thought of as NH chase prospect, better ground may help (not a clean winded horse)
Echoes in Rain 7-2 win – track ground and trip to suit
Ramillies win- copy and paste Aione thoughts. Maybe Darver Star ew too
Gala Marceau win. I know Lossie likely beat her but I love crazy little Gala. Could be tempted by Nusret ew too- 20-1 looks good
EWs on Horantzau D’airy (jockey doing well in these colours over hurdles this week) and Power of Pause- got course form, trainer said would come on plenty for the run last time, 33s a very nice price, took that. Is this the race where the winner can get a bonus at Galway? I’m also looking at Risk Belle, Ambitious Fellow and The Very Man. You can get 6 places and I might just back the lot cos it’s the last daaaay
Bumper- dunno. Redstone maybe. Or Solo Flight. Or both.

Well done guys, been a good week for you Grass

Been a poor week for me, but last day, so I’m just going for it.

In the opener, Midnight Maestro should be suited by the drop in trip, and he’s worth another try after his effort on Thursday.

The Colm Quinn, and The Pat Taafee are my two favourite races of the week.

In The Colm Quinn, splitting my stakes on The Dabbler and Fairyhill Run. The Dabbler was terrible last time, but he wasn’t knocked about.

In The Pat Taaffe, I’m mad keen on Snugsborough Benny. Been patiently waiting on him after being brought down here five months back. I’m sure he would’ve won that day, and hope he’s worth the wait. I looked at Ramillies and Escaria Ten, but I really couldn’t ignore Sam Brown, and bet him when the market opened on Thursday.

I’ll see how they go before deciding on the 1730, but main hopes would be Power of Pause, and The Shunter, and I’m fairly certain I’ll end up with Power of Pause

    1435 – Midnight Maestro
Colm Quinn – Fairyhill Run 20’s
Colm Quinn – The Dabbler 20’s
Pat Taaffe – Sam Brown 14’s
Pat Taaffe – Snugsborough Benny 66 EW 5pl
    1730 – Power of Pause

Well done guys, had a busy week with work so my bets have been done + i haven’t had time to contribute here lol.

Anyway Friday was very quiet for me only having bet Spillane’s Tower, i thought i was onto a winner, but he was battled out of it over the last by a much more battled hardened winner.

    Saturday is tricky.

The 3m7 chase is interesting as so many of them have very recent runs, i liked the look of Mercury Lane and i’ve taken 7-1, having had a less strenuous task LTO over shorter + with a 29 day gap.

I think Echoes In Rain could bounce back tomorrow too.

In the Pat TaaffE Henry DB form figures show 33113…..So i’m dutching both of his, as i actually quite liked both before noticing that anyway.

2m3 hurdle, Heia the main selection with better ground to suit and coming here pretty fresh having only run once in 2023 and shaping well. I’m going to add another or two, from POP, The Very Man or Ambitious Fellow.

In the bumper i’ll probably have a fun bet on either A Remy Martin (trainer ok with bumper horses + very interesting jockey booked) or Solo Flight- trainer doing great guns this year + while this horse was going to finish behind Redstone, this one has a more speedy pedigree than Redstone, so dropping to 2m might just suit him more.

I’ll be a touch wound up if Brandy Love wins today having had a good bet on her at Cheltenham, no bets for me though so best of luck to everyone with those they’re backing across the card!

Thanks folks, don’t know why he was that price after a good run earlier in the week.
Couldn’t enjoy the race much though, An Droichead Eile’s fall was horrific. At least he got up, hope he is ok.

Shouldn’t have given Danny Mullins the ride on Love Envoi, he done his best to keep Brandy Love straight despite knowing that one would jump left
Wouldn’t have won anyway as Echoes In Rain by far the best today but a strange ride imo
