Agree Frenchy, I said half way through, Raabihah isn’t winning from here on this ground, she’s ran a cracker still. You can see why Rouget has raved about her after this run, she’s got the engine there. I presume they’ll keep her in training no doubt + she’s the one to take from a poor renewal.

I just can’t believe they thought, or Maxime thought that was the best move to make in that race on that ground. I think they knew she wasn’t going to win on that ground from the beginning and did one of those two scenarios.
Can’t wait to back her next year though!
Not surprised Sottsass is being retired!
Winning a substandard Arc isn’t going to make him the first choice for breeders unless priced cheap possibly with NFNF concession for those willing to support the horse at stud.
Running for the paddocks was probably a wise choice for connections as personally think continuing to run him is more likely than not to dent his reputation devaluing the stud potential.
Hope Enable’s retired as I don’t see how her reputation can be enhanced further?
