November 28, 2009 at 23:25 #261090Moe, I thought he was travelling like the winner in Ellerslie George’s race at Wincanton, but he seemed to take a "false-step" after landing over one of the obstacles, went backwards, and was pulled up a fence or two later. I mentioned this on the Ellerslie George thread, I think. To be honest, I didn’t have a bet, because my money has gone elsewhere, and it ain’t payday until Monday (last day of month). Might give up betting on the Grand National, and just put £200 on whatever Timmy Murphy is riding. The ironic thing is that I had £2 waiting to be matched at 100 on the horse for the Welsh National, but as no one is going to match that now, I’ve just cancelled it.
