Osana ran a cracker in the Arkle and surely will appreciate this trip.
March 28, 2010 at 20:50 #28616925-50mm Of rain due in Leinster this week.
******* Great
March 28, 2010 at 22:27 #286186Zaarito’s jumping really drives me up the wall! They rate this fella higher than Big Zeb seemingly at the same stage in his career and IF he gets round he will win. As with Big Zeb, keep the faith!
March 30, 2010 at 12:55 #286478The whole meeting could be in doubt at the moment. The going at the moment is heavy and it’s currently snowing where I am – only 10-15 miles away from the track.
March 30, 2010 at 14:43 #286513Looking forward to seeing Let Yourself Go trying to make all in this if he’s allowed to take his chance. Must be a slight doubt about the trip for one who runs so exhuberently but he’s the best jumper in the field.

I’d be more worried about the ground than the distance for Let Yourself Go. Though he’s won twice on sft/hvy ground, they weren’t good races, and it’s probably no coincidence that he’s avoided the worst winter months throughout his career.
Shakerviltz is the interesting one for me. After 2 from 2 chase wins over an inadequate distance, he’s already shown he’s likely to be a better fencer than his (not immodest) hurdles form and, despite connections insisting he’d surprised them by winning over 2 miles, they still thought him a serious candidate for the Arkle. Might even have run too, had the opening-day ground promised more of a test.April 4, 2010 at 03:56 #287409

Also had an Irish National entry until this week, so looks certain to improve again for this stiff 2.5.April 4, 2010 at 12:31 #287460I think peoples worries about Zaarito’s jumping is factored into his price @ 4/1. I think if he jumps around he will win convincingly and therefore the 4/1 on offer is a no-brainer for me.
April 4, 2010 at 12:47 #287465I’d agree with that. He looks like a monster.
April 4, 2010 at 13:43 #287473I’d have to agree with Zaarito comments. If he gets round he wins.
However, I don’t think he gets round again today and have dutched Kempes and Roberto Goldback.
Good luck all, if Zaarito does get round then i’ll still be pretty happy. This horse deserves a big win

Thats my only concern too thm,if he jumps he wins imo!The trip and ground are no problem!

I hate it when we agree!
April 4, 2010 at 14:44 #287483Chaotic best word?
Jadanli @ 25/1 stands up and takes it. Once again Zaarito cant stay on his feet and Roberto Goldback similar takes a very nasty fall. Zaarito again would of won a big race of he were to stay on his feet.
April 4, 2010 at 14:45 #287484Jumps Racing like that is just not worth watching.
The whole meeting should be abandoned. How can horse run on that.
Poor Stuff
April 4, 2010 at 16:31 #287508You’d be tearing your hair out with Zaarito. That’s three Grade 1s he’s fallen in this season. Perhaps it’s time to give him a confidence boost over timber á la Big Zeb at Fairyhouse last year.
April 5, 2010 at 10:55 #287632Exactly what I was thinking Imperial. Wouldn’t he be some cert if he was in something like the Pierse Hurdle
