Congratulations on the continuing success of horses mentioned on this thread. This approach has been going along nicely in profit for quite a few months and I cannot see any reason why it shouldn’t continue. It is a very solid method and I’m often tempted to follow it exclusively and stop tinkering with ratings. If I didn’t have so much spare time to fill, I probably would have it as my main source of bets.
Cheers Artemis-just hoping that it will continue to find winners.<br>It could probably be refined to increase % profit possibly the type of race has significance perhaps the number of positives in Postdata may be an indicator.Recently I have been looking at the ratings and the difference between qualifiers and next best.<br>There could be less interesting ways of spending your time.I find it a challenge and over the years have collected various publications that have prompted investigation.The main thing is I enjoy the challenge.I’m working on some ideas at the moment.<br>I have enjoyed your contributions and look at the thinking behind selection procedures.<br>I think its a matter of what can we expect.We are not going to be picking winners every race but must try and obtain a good % strike rate.<br>I’m afraid I need the security of reasonably frequent winners(if possible)I’d like to back 10/1+ winners but at the moment my approaches don’t indicate these.
