I find it refreshing four different trainers have won the four Guineas in the UK and Ireland and none of them Aidan O’Brien. I wonder what price I would have got on that a couple of months ago?
The more I know the less I understand.
May 26, 2024 at 22:58 #1695734It definitely does make a change. Still, it could have been even better.
Godolphin, another Maktoum (twice) and Clipper Logistics aren’t exactly small owners; another Speciosa-type of result would have been far preferable.

Value Is EverythingMay 27, 2024 at 01:22 #1695744Apparently we can’t even spell a horses name correctly let alone pronounce it right.
Shocking.
....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.
May 27, 2024 at 02:06 #1695746I like seeing the big owners win , vast amounts of money invested , keeps uk racing above water . They win keeps them interested , keeps the game going . Godolphin and Appleby win in US and HK over the weekend , they give it a decent go , as do Coolmore keeping Derby winners in traning .
Who else would buy million buck yearlings and race for peanuts in UK . Lucky to have these investors .May 27, 2024 at 08:11 #1695752“Not for me they bloody wouldn’t, Glad’.”
