A great thread this and although I haven’t attempted to work out how you’re doing it (that would be rude
) your selections appear to follow the same pattern from a similar system I used from 1 Jan to 7 June this year on both the Place and Win market following a paper trial from August to December last year)Have you kept a record of how these selections have performed on the Win market?
In my system (all stakes to a £5.00 Fixed Backers Stake plus a variable amount to reflect an assumed edge) from 479 races the Place Lay Strike Rate was 83.51% and the Win Lay Strike Rate 97.91% and the Win market profits where 3 x the place market.
Also are you keeping any records of races to possibly avoid?
Again in my system I avoided Listed Races and above, Handicap Chases and only played in 3 place markets with runners between 9 & 15 runners with a maximum Place Lay of 9.00

I have already tried to reply but it has got in a twist so have had to abandon!
Yes I am documenting everything. (Spread sheets and paper). My spread sheets have the place lays stats of bets I place. Not the ones where the odds are too high or the odd other one I leave. I generally lay everything that is posted unless I say otherwise.
Like you I prefer 9 runners or more and lay up to about 9/10 or lay in running at about 7.6/8.0, that is if I think it will come in that much. Lower is good of course!
At the moment I have the list I post and a second list I am watching. They are place lays that don’t quite make the first list.
Jumps racing isn’t really producing many place lays right now but that may change once the proper jumps season gets under way.
AW is somewhere in the middle. I prefer turf anyway but that is just me.
So far no bias for any particular race such as handicaps of maidens but shall continue to monitor.
