What difference does it make if the winning connections thought they were ebaten? They aren’t the judge and evidence suggests teh judge was right.
Some people’s ability to ignore evidence or bend it suit their off beat story never ceases to amaze me on here.
Instead of dictating to Paul Struthers how professional/responsible people within an organisation should do their job, maybe we should be grateful that one of their number should be prepared to
a) put forward the BHA’s point of view
b) put his own opinion forward when, on occasions, it doesn’t match that of his organisation. One of these days Paul might get p****d with the petty sniping. I sincerely hope not because TRF woudl be apoorer place without his contributions.
On the subject of the photograph, although the image is poor, it seemed reasonable to give the verdict the way it was given.

July 15, 2011 at 13:03 #364775Pinza, my reference to you as Dr Pangloss
‘like’ was meant as a compliment, I like the way you are predictable
even your stance with R4C
But, to begin I have to say I am bit reluctant to post this as I really don’t wish to make a big issue out of this one event.
However, there is an increasing body of evidence (PM me for references) that suggests commonly held beliefs and desires are cemented in the ‘mind’ from as little as 9 experiences.
Now, perhaps I’m naïve, but I (personally) don’t believe British Horseracing is anymore dodgy than any other sport but if there are those that are perhaps on their 5th, 6th, 7th occasion of thinking what the f*** is going on here, surely it is in all our interests that they deserve better than the ridiculously Photo-Finish Print that Judith posted on here.
So, in my view we owe it to the sport to do away with (cheaply and easily, like Wolverhampton in January do) such events which as I said before I think the OP is right is raise.
