The Storyteller looks like a classic Elliot plot job and I congratulate those who got double figures as far back as December!
He’d likely be my main play with some each way interest on Welsh Saint, Stoney Mountain and Kilbricken Storm. I hate to abandon Unowhatimeanharry at such a big price, but I really don’t want five, especially after the week I’m having!
March 12, 2020 at 12:15 #1485676All about The Storyteller for me here, but got to have some back up.
Dream Berry was an interesting early shout for Eamonn on here. I’m joining you Eamonn at 16’s.
I’ve banged on about Kansas City Chief for what seems like years now, and he’s not delivered. Not bloody once. He’s 66’s, so in I go again.
Dream Berry 16’s
Kansas City Chief EW 7 Places
The Storyteller 12’sMarch 12, 2020 at 13:26 #1485707Main play is last year’s winner , e.w I like the course form of kilbricken storm …….and I’ll follow dingo dollar off a cliff …is anyone following
March 12, 2020 at 14:05 #1485724I’m joining Eamonn as well for a Jonjo family handicap plot
Dream Berry 16s
Rocket Lad 70s
Sunset Showdown 90sAll ew 7pl with Paddy Power.
Rocket Lad might flop again (in which case I fully expect him to be tucked away with a wind op and will be loading on him come Galway) but worth a few shekels- he has talent.Sunset Showdown is an absolute rogue but might be happy fresh.
Good luck
March 12, 2020 at 14:10 #1485726The Storyteller ew 5 places
March 12, 2020 at 14:21 #1485729Well played Lemons and HDLG
March 12, 2020 at 14:21 #1485730Get in!! Great ride and cannot believe the price. If ever two horses were plotted up for a handicap this was it.
March 12, 2020 at 14:22 #1485731Yeeeeehaaaa , great training performance , he picked up like he had 10 stone rather than 11.12 on his back
March 12, 2020 at 14:24 #1485732WD Cork, Lemons and Ray
And everyone with EW money.
Rocket Lad had a canter round the back so no doubt something still wrong.
Sunset Showdown gave me a run for my money, Dream Berry a bit disappointing.March 12, 2020 at 14:24 #1485733Hmmm.
First two lucky not to feel the weight of the Warwick stewards on their previous starts.Value Is EverythingMarch 12, 2020 at 14:29 #1485734The Warwick stewards were prob on ….it was my hard to see what was happening
March 12, 2020 at 14:30 #1485736Great finish, well done Ray, Lemons and He Didn’t Like Ground
March 12, 2020 at 14:32 #1485737I wonder what price you could get for either of those two jockeys to finish 4th 5th or 6th in a Pertemps qualifier? Maybe evens if the bookies were feeling particularly generous.
March 12, 2020 at 14:34 #1485738OK. Bit of a n00b question this, so don’t shoot me down.
What sort of chance would Sire Du Berlais have had in the Stayers? Afterall, top weight to win the handicap at the same distance, on the same track and surface.
Interesting that the Pertemps winner gets more prize money than the third in the championship race, which must be a factor in the race planning. Thoughts?
March 12, 2020 at 14:41 #1485741Wd winners.
March 12, 2020 at 15:10 #1485753It’s a good question Quelle , e,d prob have chance if you took out Paisley , i think with jp now it’s getting winners on the board and be the most successful owner ….he,s had some week
March 12, 2020 at 20:55 #1485837I know what the critics are saying. I said myself on page 1 of this thread that Sire Du Berlais was not knocked about at Warwick.
It was obvious the front two were both going to find a lot more from their runs in the qualifiers. Not saying it is right but we all know the score with the Pertemps. Maybe the race conditions need to be reconsidered.
