First qualifier tomorrow.
He’ll be eleven next year, but interested to see how Geordie Des Champs fares on Saturday. Bit of an old rogue, but always liked him, and yard can land the odd shock or two, so no surprise to see him back here in March.
Born Patriot though, long term he’s the one I really like from this lot. Liked his runs at Killarney, and especially Punchestown. Plenty to work on there.
October 22, 2021 at 22:19 #1564285I might start sending dan Skelton daily emails to plot proschema here
November 14, 2021 at 15:23 #1567586On my radar for everything this year FF, and every chance he’ll go this route. On a nice mark too.
Very nice run there from Dallas Des Pictons.
Dallas Des Pictons 25’s
November 14, 2021 at 22:04 #1567646Yeah same vtc was waiting for him to get added in the market, waiting on him
Being added elsewhere so i can get onI backed him today @25/1 but it was apparant turning in davy was just getting him placed, IMO definitely could have won that easily, did not want to get 2nd either but horse just took him there
Horse broke my heart in the martin pipe when i was on at big prices and again last season at chelt when i had him 4 places

Hopefully he stays sound, he owes me one lol
November 15, 2021 at 06:17 #1567668I’ll be trying to get a price about Folcano today. Nursed round yesterday and crept quietly into sixth place at the finish, thereby qualifying for the final. Was well fancied for the Martin Pipe last season but was hampered and fell at the first. Reckon he’ll be there or thereabouts in March.
November 15, 2021 at 18:34 #1567738Got 66s. Taken e/w
November 15, 2021 at 23:23 #1567757Where is the 66s for Folcano?!
November 16, 2021 at 01:39 #1567767Good luck Ham.
I’d given up on him after that chasing campaign, but a couple of runs last year were much more like it. Always liked him.
He’s as low as 8’s now in places for this, but strangely can still get that 25’s now, which is a slight worry, but I’m happy enough at this stage.
November 16, 2021 at 06:33 #1567783Coneycard: I walked into William Hills and they phoned up for a price.
November 16, 2021 at 23:56 #1567860Thanks Gladiateur – hope I get the same treatment!
December 4, 2021 at 20:22 #1570714Frustrated to have missed Commander Of Fleet winning at 40/1 today. Not often a horse of his quality goes off at that price.
20/1 for this race and Elliott must surely be thinking about it for him.
December 4, 2021 at 21:01 #1570717He will be knobbled by the handicapper now unfortunately
Will likely get 7-10lbs and the uk handicapper won’t forget his bartlett run
If they’ve finally got him back to what he was he could even improve into a stayers hurdle horse
December 27, 2021 at 14:10 #1574822Flight Deck definitely looked the part for this the other day, and remains on the shortlist, however I’ve had a second bet here, and it’s Duffle Coat.
Dallas Des Pictons 25’s
Duffle Coat 25’sDecember 27, 2021 at 14:12 #1574823Davy Russell to sneak duffle coat into 4th-6th will no doubt be the plan
January 10, 2022 at 01:27 #1577327That was my plan FF, but sadly not to be. Drumoyne definitely the eyecatcher.
Really shouldn’t be adding anymore here, but one of my favourite races of the week, so don’t mind having three at this stage.
One of my big hopes for the season is Mr Fred Rogers, and been chipping away at him in a few lines the last week at 25’s. Not even qualified yet, and noticed he was down to 20’s yesterday, so had a good few quid on. He’s now as low as 14’s, and I can only guess that Warwick is the plan. That was certainly my plan for betting him without being qualified, as there’s no qualifiers left in Ireland. It had to be Warwick or Musselburgh surely.
He’s just a very promising sort, the manner of his two wins was very impressive, as was his finishing burst behind Ginto at Navan, and I could see him eating up that hill.
Very definitely my #1 for this, and at least a good old fashioned Antepost for me, with absolutely no guarantee that he’ll qualify, or even get that entry for a qualifier.
I’m wanting to add Flight Deck too, so I’d love to see Duffle Coat qualify too in the UK, so I could maybe lay off nearer the time, as I was less than impressed with him at Leopardstown, and he’s a bit of a write off for me at the moment. Still happy with Dallas Des Pictons though.

Mr Fred Rogers 20’sJanuary 10, 2022 at 09:55 #1577348Agreed on MFR Bobby, hadn’t pulled the trigger yet but might have to if he’s being cut
Where is he 20s Bobby, oddschecker doesn’t have him quoted correctly i don’t think

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 10, 2022 at 14:22 #1577389He was 20’s with Hills on Saturday Jack, but Oddschecker only showing the 25’s from 31st Dec. He’s been on Oddschecker for weeks at that price.
I went to have more at the 20’s yesterday, and it was gone, down to 16’s, and then the 14’s didn’t last long either. PP and Sportsbook holding 14’s just now.
Really like him Jack, and good to see him get that Warwick entry, but he’s hit half the bloody yard entered.
Even if not to be in The Pertemps, he looks like one I’ll be following for a good while hopefully.
