Can anyone explain to me what the situation is at this stable ?.
As I understand it , Twiston Davis is stable jockey and still seems to ride the bulk of the runners.
However, he doesn’t take over the rides when progressive horses begin to appear in better class races, if he hasn’t ridden them all along.
In a way that is reward for the other jocks in the yard, but still slightly confusing.
I know that the yard aren’t quite as all conquering as usual at the moment, but the stable jockey role must still be one of the most appealing in NH racing. Is there change on the horizon ?It is exactly as you say, he is remaining very loyal to Bryony, Sean Bowen & Cobden when he can although some of the G1 rides he is keeping with STD despite owners wants particularly SDR.
STD going back to his father has been rumoured for some time and he does seem to be riding more and more for Nigel so it could be possible, especially with Ryan Hatch being forced to retire & Willy going into bloodstock.
