Well In Excelsis Deo did go back out from the 10s and having waited I
don’t think it will go out any more so in case it shortens I’ve taken
the 12/1. I’m glad they have Bryan Carver in the plate, I said I wasn’t
sure if JJ Burke got the best out of him. Hopefully it will go well.
    Best of luck :good:

Also think In Excelsis Deo has a great chance here.

    In Excelsior Deo 10/1

My ratings are heavily weighted toward the Galway Plate form. I have a Willie Mullins runner top and I have a fien record of torpedoing the stable’s runners whenever I tip them…

    178 Janidil
    175 In Excelsis Deo
    175 Lets Go Champ
    174 Hartur D’Arc
    173 Jetoile

It’s not ideal that Imagine hasn’t had a prep run, he might be better over further and it’s slightly concerning that after the dispersal sale Elliott said “We got back all the ones we wanted except Caldwell Potter”… but if I am right he is a grade 1 horse and has at least a stone in hand.

He has some nice back form with good horses behind him in the past. He’s inexperienced but looks a straightforward ride and a good clean straight jumper and I don’t think will be fazed by a handicap field.

Ginny’s Destiny and Grey Dawning beat each other and a bunch of 140s horses all last season. The only time they we tried against the Irish form- bar a falling apart Facile Vega- Willie Mullins’ little pony walloped them. Ginny’s is rising 9 and I don’t think is going to improve tons more. I don’t think there’s anything else in the field massively well handicapped though Il Ridoto has lovely course form.

Imagine all the way for me.

In Excelsis Deo is error prone but the ground is right and that April form is decent

However, you’d hope that Imagine would be primed for this with such a good record when fresh; both his sire and the dams sire produced some decent Cheltenham horses

Settled on Il Ridoto and Janidil, though the drift of Il Ridoto a concern, and he remains the backup

    Il Ridoto 10’s
    Janidil 28’s EW5Pls/40’s

I’ll be suprised if Ginnys Destiny doesn’t win , no disgrace in getting beat by Ill etat temps who I reckon is going to be one of those he horses of the season , much rather play Ginny than the much more exposed Ga Law
