Well done to the horse and connections. Absolutely dismantled his field at Hexham this afternoon.
The drop down to a mark of 93 helped as he was in a class he can handle. He looked on seriously good terms with himself today, maybe he likes the sun on his back?
He really goes well at Hexham and his record there now reads 311P31.He seems able to do his own thing around there and then staying power comes into play up the hill.

The fact that I was nowhere near the course helped! I have an abysmal record as ‘owner on course’!
It was the first time I’ve ever seen him run (on telly, mind), so I’ve obviously brought him luck
A terrific result and a huge congrats to all concerned! Seems to bring his best at this time of year!
Is it true that VtC done a victory lap of honour around the course in the nuddy…?

I think I’m an unlucky omen too Rob so us both being absent meant he was a cert. Great training performance to get him back in winner’s enclosure, hard to get them back and Lucinda Russell has done a fantastic, patient job with him. Now for The Village!
By the way, we need just one more person to join us TRF’ers to allow us to take another share in the club. Very, very affordable and great fun with two decent horses, great yard and (mostly….ha) nice group of owners. PM me for details.
