Does anyone have any old Timeform weekly “Little Black Books” for National Hunt, any period 1970 to 1979 that they wish to sell or re-home ? I’m looking to fill in some gaps for Chasers’ and Hurdlers’ Timeform ratings for that period. I already have several of the weekly books, plus all the yearly books from 75/76 onwards when they first published the proper book, plus all the Chaseform annuals, but the weekly Timeform books seem very hard to get hold of. Willing to pay a good price. Thanks

All the best.

Value Is EverythingSeptember 5, 2024 at 19:39 #1706403I have about 10 black books chasing edition from 1970s eg. No.9 Dec 13 1976/77,No.9 May16 1977, No.13 Jan.10 1976/77,No.20 Feb.28 1976/77
September 6, 2024 at 21:20 #1706458I used to buy printed material from the firm in Brentford that produced these for Timeform. The rep used to pop in once a week for several years with the new copy. I also got the annuals, minus dust jackets. This went on from about 78 to 83.
You can guess the next bit. I only kept the weekly ones until the next one came out, but the dozen or so annuals sat in the attic for twenty years or more, until I took the decision that they were probably worthless… - AuthorPosts
