    Three stand out in this….

Allmankind – He looks a big price at 7’s to me for this level. Can see him going really well round there, and with a run under his belt, I can’t leave that 7’s. No idea if a serious target, the price is certainly a worry, but got to have an early go 7’s

Midnight Shadow – On his best form, way overpriced, but his dismal effort in this last year is fresh in the memory, and there’s also a chance he’s not as best fresh. I think he might be worth holding off for until The BetVictor or Caspian Caviar, but a big price nonetheless 14’s

Reserve Tank – Very good two years back, before things went pear shaped, part of a season to forget for the yard. He’s not a lost cause though, and this might be a good starting point for him, and if I see him jocked up, I’d take the current price. Tempted 16’s

    Allmankind 7’s
    Reserve Tank

You have done well with AMK there. Jocked up now, and 9/2 / 5/1.

Cheers Tatling, just need to see him declared now, as that 7’s worries me, thought it almost too good to be true.

I’m eyeing up itchy feet and fanion destruval

The hope being that theyve done loads of schooling in pre season and one of them has learned how to jump

I like Nuts Well to follow up here. I will take him at around 7-2, though I do hope that he drifts out a little bit

My figures for this are as follows:

    172 Killer Clown
    166 Nuts Well
    164 Huntsman Son
    161 Midnight Shadow
    157 Itchy Feet
    156 Allmankind
    149 Fanion D’Estruval
    140 Tamaroc Du Mathan

Just a note of caution that the data avaiable for Tamaroc Du Mathan is not as accurate as I would liek as he has improved siginifcantly since last handicap run.

KILLER CLOWN has had wind surgery since his third behind progressive Belargus at Sandown in April. looks weighted to make an impact here. NUTS WELL ran a fine race on return at Kelso recently against decent opponents, follows the same path as he did when winning this last term and he won’t be far away.

    It’s a good lineup, this.

Allmankind is the obvious one and should take all the beating. The hurdles run will have put him spot on for this and I suspect connections are looking at bigger and better things down the line, so this could be a good opportunity to scoop a handicap while his mark allows him.

Nuts Well is such an admirable type, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he grinds out another win here. Clearly loves Aintree and I don’t think is a million miles away from being graded standard.

I think my bet is going to be Itchy Feet. Less than two lengths behind Nuts Well on level weights in the Melling Chase and receives 6lbs, so the 7/1 looks pretty generous.

I could bet six of these. Huntsman Son could be an each way option, but I’ll see if his price goes out in the morning.

Best time of year, this

I’m with the 2 youngsters , allmankind showed some top class form last season , while it’s spectacular watching him gunning from the front if the Skelton’s can teach him to settle I think he has more good races in him , fanion d,estruval was frustrating last year , really should have won a race and unlucky when falling in the Peterborough , finishing just behind polotilogue and watching patiently in the Clarence house I think he,s cracking each way value and I think he,ll be the one attacking allmankind at the end , rev forecast Inc

Im going to add Midnight Shadow. Despite my reservations mentioned earlier, there’s also the chance he had a few issues.

If he’s good to go, then around 16’s, he’s just too big in this field. Hopefully beat that price.

    Allmankind 7’s
    Midnight Shadow 25’s

    Itchy feet 7s
    Fanion destruval 9s

Il know my fate early on

Itchy feet has been given intensive schooling according to olly Murphy and hopefully they’ve done something similar with fanion destruval

I think both have a few lbs in hand off these marks not sure the same can be said of the fav off 160

But if they still can’t jump that won’t matter

Good to see Aintree has scheduled it early to avoid the problem of low sun. Although, as I am at the track today, I think I can say it is or going to be an issue anyway!

I fancied Fusil Raffles here but not declared so I’ll join the Killer Clown backers.

    Wd winners

Itchy feet did jump better but looks like he needs 3 miles

Definitely has a big handicap in him
