Spare me. Where do they get them from? Spose Lester was rubbish too was he? Go back to sleep. In fairness to Stilvi, Ted Walsh was absolutely brutal with the stick at times. It doesn’t take away from how effective he was in the saddle, but it certainly rates a mention.
September 3, 2009 at 22:29 #246961I can remember Attitude Adjuster taking the Foxhunters at a relatively young age but I don’t think he won too many races afterwards.

An interestingly named horse, too, as "attitude adjuster" is a slang term for the whip, especially when used on unwilling partners.
September 4, 2009 at 16:24 #247080I take it you mean the Attitude Adjuster trained by Mouse Morris that never even RAN in ANY Foxhunters? The Attitude Adjuster that Ted Walsh NEVER rode in his life and the horse that never won a race in his career? THAT Attitute Adjuster is it Stilvi? Musta won it in your own little parallel universe did he? At the risk of repeating myself, go back to sleep ye doughnut

Was your reason for joining this forum to show within ten (you will obviously appreciate that number) posts that you are a complete idiot?

Oops! A fantastically unfortunate post from someone who appears not to understand the historical limitations of the Racing Post database. You’ve made yourself look a bit of a, what’s the word….doughnut?
September 4, 2009 at 17:29 #247096Take up Formula 1 or Baseball Stilvi. You’re obviously not suited to the gee gees. You’re not one up for debate or discussion really either are you? Just make up stuff as you go along eh? You really need to "Adjust your Attitude" (That’s called ‘wit’ by the way). Once yeve sold yer house in Wonderland you can get back to me Aesop.

An elegant climbdown from Ten Plus there. That could have been embarrassing for a moment or two.
September 4, 2009 at 17:36 #247100Selective statistics Rory for the purpose of trying to bring another pain in the hole PC "Don’t use the whip on me please" numpty back into reality. Dunno why I bother. Who was the guy a while back who said "I don’t know why I bother posting here. Most of you lot don’t deserve the benefit of my knowledge" Something along those lines? Anybody know who he was?

A perusal of the
Chaseform
annual for 1985-6 informs that he won the 1986 renewal of the Cheltenham Foxhunters.
To develop Rory’s point further, the completeness of the
Racing Post
results database cannot be guaranteed for the late 80s. January 1989 onwards seems more or less intact, 1987-1989 is patchy for UK results and extremely patchy for Irish ones, and pre-1987 is pretty much nonexistent.
That’s not a criticism of what is usually an entirely adequate resource. That’s just how far it goes.
Having checked
Chaseform
s for 1986 through to 1989, after which the
Post
database can pick up the story again, Stilvi’s right that Attitude Adjuster never won another race in the UK after the 1986 Foxhunters. If he did win anything else in Ireland thereafter, it’s not documented in either source.
