It will run on sunday and Tranquil Sea is in this race along with Barker as well. Those 2 horses caught my eye.
Hope Barker and Tranquil Sea do well.Racingpost websiteFebruary 23, 2010 at 20:47 #278688The story about Tranquil Sea going straight to Cheltenham would have been before it was known that this race was being rescheduled?
February 23, 2010 at 22:40 #278725Do you think Tranquil Sea will run in this race
February 24, 2010 at 00:37 #27874950/50 to run I’ve heard. EOG doesn’t want him to have a hard race so close to the festival.
February 24, 2010 at 11:17 #278780Can’t imagine McNamara would be looking to bottom Tranquil Sea here anyway……2m isn’t his trip, and I’d expect this to be pretty-much an exercise gallop to put him straight for the Festival.
Still not convinced he will run, mind you.
February 28, 2010 at 11:17 #279627Tranquil Sea is racing today any thoughts on the race as well.

As Grassy says, it’s a warm-up over an inadequate trip but, with Aran Concerto running like a drain, Tranquil Sea is head and shoulders above the rest and should win this comfortably.
Not a betting proposition at the 8/11, but his RyanAir price looks bound to shorten.February 28, 2010 at 12:45 #279648I expect Made In Taipan will give him most to do, very good horse on his day.
February 28, 2010 at 16:28 #279691Very good win from Tranquil Sea, very snug in the end.
