Sadly New Seeker had to be put down yesterday evening after sustaining an injury to his spine and pelvic area at Greatwood where he had been enjoying his retirement. He was Elite Racing Clubs 1st Royal Ascot winner when winning the Britannia Stakes and won over 390,000 in prize money throughout his career until his retirement in 2008.
