Here are the rules for the new 2017-18 Ante Post Competition.
1. Competition runs from now until the end of Royal Ascot 2018.
2. All selections must be made before final declarations are made.
3. No compulsory races or bonus races.
4. Each bet will either be 2pts win or 1pt ew and you can have 2 different bets on the same race if you wish.
5. Minimum of 60 pts to be used and there is NO maximum.
6. All ew bets to be settled at 1/4 odds.
7. Any non runner counts as a losing bet unless horse was balloted out.
8. Bets must be quoted from one of the following bookmakers on Oddschecker BET365, SKYBET, TOTESPORT, BOYLESPORTS, BETFRED, SPORTINGBET, BETVICTOR, PADDY POWER, STAN JAMES, LADBROKES, CORALS AND WILLIAM HILL.
9. You can bet on any race in the UK, Ireland or any International race as long as prices are offered by any of the 12 bookmakers above.
10.In the event of a tie the winner will be the tipster with the biggest priced winner, if still a tie then the tipster with the second biggest priced winner and so on.
11.ANYBODY can join in, just start tipping on the relevant thread.
12.I shall keep an up to date list of everyone’s outstanding bets for ease of reference.

Sorry to be a pain (and I don’t know what date your update goes to) but I did put up Capri for the St Leger. It’s on page 2 of the “2017-18 Ante Post Tipping Comp – Selections from September 4th Onwards” thread. I posted it on the 12th of September with the rubbish selections Montaly & Stake Acclaim.
Apologies if you did calculate that in, I appreciate that I post more selections than most.

Sorry Charles I did this update before the St Leger was run but I didn’t post it on here until this week. The Leger result will be included in the next update.

December 3, 2017 at 20:35 #1330225The big mover this month is Venture To Cognac who finds the 11-1 winner Sam Spinner in the Betfair Stayers’ Hurdle and follows up with an ew return on Flying Tiger in the Fighting Fifth @ 25-1. Kris found the Betfair Chase winner Bristol De Mai @ 5-2 and finally our leader BigG made a profit with an ew return on Don’t Tell No One in the Troytown Chase @ 20-1.

The final winning bet comes from CharlesOlney thanks to Wholestone in the Relkeel Hurdle (4-1).

Charles also landed the Cotswold Chase with Definitly Red @ 6-1. Kris also found 2 winners since the last update with Gun Runner in the Pegasus World Cup @ 5-6 and Master The World got the victory in the stewards room after the Winter Derby @ 10-1. Finally, VTC landed the ew return with Portrait King in the Eider at a very nice 33-1.

Finally, Kris almost lands the Champion Hurdle with an ew bet on the narrow runner up Melon @ 14-1. Well done guys!
