I have taken a chance early doors in this race which I do not normally do!!
However, I was mightily impressed with Tell Us More from the Gigginstown outfit but with Mr Mullins! 20/1 was a price that looks fairNovember 11, 2014 at 23:15 #494958I have taken a chance early doors in this race which I do not normally do!!
However, I was mightily impressed with Tell Us More from the Gigginstown outfit but with Mr Mullins! 20/1 was a price that looks fairHe’s not Faugheen, but he’ll be this season’s Faugheen imo. He looked a beast when he won his bumper and looks to have the same blend of speed and staying power that enabled Faugheen to run away with this season’s renewal.
I wrote an article a couple of weeks ago detailing a list of Irish horses to follow (in the features section on here) and Tell Us More was included.
Tell Us More arrived at Willie Mullins’ stables with a big reputation, topping Brightwells December Sale at Cheltenham having won his point at Tattersalls despite being hampered. He didn’t disappoint on his first start for Mullins, turning a Gowran bumper into a procession in March. He was due to run again, in a bumper at the Punchestown Festival, but he was a non runner due to being lame on the day. He looks a three mile chaser in the making but could prove capable of making his mark in top novice hurdles over two and a half miles and further.

Thanks GDC, hopefully we’ll have something to dream about over the winter
November 14, 2014 at 22:16 #495169I also like Stars over the Sea and have chanced him at 33s EW for the Triumph – one race I do not normally get involved in until February but you never know
November 18, 2014 at 07:45 #495648Disappointing from Miles to Memphis, hopefully just beaten by the ground, remains with plenty of potential.
November 18, 2014 at 21:21 #495714Tell Us More entered at Gowran and Navan this weekend, both races over two miles.
The William Hill odds compiler stands firm at 20/1, for how long I wonder
November 19, 2014 at 20:42 #495785After i go in there tomorrow it not be 20/1 Tommy
TELL US MORE for me too.November 19, 2014 at 21:37 #495788THM: not concerned that Tell us More is half the price for the Albert Bartlett? Think it may be a weak market there possibly

Not really GDC, not yet anyway. Looking at the novices Mullins has, and what Gigginstown have, they have lots of stayers.
In Black Hercules and Milseain Mullins has two very big guns to aim at the Bartlett, as well as possibly Killultagh Vic.
Then you look at Gigginstown who also have Milseain, as well as No More Heroes and Alpha Des Obeaux. They don’t seem to have as much for the shorter races, so I’m happy to take a chance that the Neptune is where Tell Us More will go if he proves good enough.

November 22, 2014 at 13:46 #496071Again Tell usMore had nowt to beat but jumped well enough out of sticky ground and shortened up for Neptune
hopefully improve further once stepped up in class NTONovember 22, 2014 at 14:16 #496074Leaving aside the guessing games of where a horse will end up it seems a Mullins runner hasn’t got to do much more than win to get shortened.
That was one of the poorest Saturday novice hurdles you will ever see. The horse had a very easy lead and not surprisingly won as he liked.
He might be very good but he has a long way to go before confirming that impression.
November 22, 2014 at 17:18 #496112You can only beat what you race against, I believe they are merely building the lads confidence
November 23, 2014 at 10:14 #496196Visually very impressive, and I’m happy with the 20s.
Can see it starting at 6/4.
January 3, 2015 at 19:08 #500328Tell Us More out again tomorrow. A much sterner test than he has faced so far, with the well touted Free Expression in opposition. I haven’t taken to Free Expression but you can’t argue that his form has worked out well, with On Impulse (also in this), Rock The World and Kauto Grand Mogul all winning having been beaten by him. Martello Tower has also won since falling at the second last at Navan with Free Expression upsides.
The second placed horse in that Grade 2, Shantou Flyer, has since finished fourth behind No More Heroes and Shaneshill, beaten 10.5 lengths. Taken literally, that form would suggest Free Expression is slightly below top class, but could be a horse that keeps a bit to himself because he didn’t really go on from Shantou Flyer having looked like he would.
The point is that Free Expression is a solid opponent and if Tell Us More swats him then what price will he be? He really would want to be winning in order to justify his position at the head of the Neptune market. I think he’ll win well and there’ll be quotes of 7/2 for Cheltenham around this time tomorrow.
There’s not much depth to the Neptune market at all. Take out Douvan who will probably only go here if both Tell Us More and Shaneshill disappoint, and we have Free Expression as joint fourth favourite.
