Just back from Newmarket a few hours ago where it rained very fine but drenching rain for most of the day. The going changed to good to soft but surprisingly not many withdrawals
Well done RTB Zanzoun was a brilliant choice and yes she was beautifully bred out of Dubawi by a Frankel mare..
Also well done to Chivers with the second filly Celestial Orbit.
My Arabian Dusk flattered for a while and finished 4th. In the paddock she looked very much like I remembered her from last year when she looked like 3yo. She hasn’t grown any more since then but she finished in front of Verse Of Love and hoping that 4th is a lucky place in the Nell Gwyn because that’s where Sky Lantern finished before she went on to win The Guineas..I think the ground was too soft for her today and not writing her off yet.

Nardra who ran 5th was a bit of a paddock negative as she was still carrying her winter coat. She looks one for later in the season.Jac
