Arabian Dusk – 5/2
Went straight into my notebook last season looking like a 3yo. She is the filly I’m looking forward most to seeing how she has faired through the winter.
Arabian Dusk ran 3rd to Lake Victoria in the Juddmonte Cheveley Park and in view of reports that LV may not have reached peak fitness yet she has every chance to win this and go onto Guineas success either at Newmarket or in Ireland. She is entered for both
Exciting prospect..

10 declaredApril 13, 2025 at 18:29 #1727202Big chance Jac, Crisford team on a high too after a Grade 1 winner in the USA. There’s six who arrive here having won on their latest outing, some of them a rout but I really cannot rate the opposition they had to face and that includes the current short fav Verse of Love.
I’ve had a small bet on Celestial Orbit who was an appealing 11/1. Last I heard from Mr. Sangster was that she would like a bit of cut in the ground, I don’t think the rain will quite do that but it might change it to a mostly good surface. Had a small injury after winning a listed race at Sandown so not seen for a good while but I thought that was a decent race, Anshoda in 2nd went on to win a group 3 so plenty to like.
April 15, 2025 at 07:47 #1727284Ground good as of 7am with a bit more rain lingering. Happy with the amount, gone in again on Celestial Orbit now 15/2.

Best of luck Chivers… Arabian Dusk out to 100/30.now so I’ll probably put an extra bet on her later..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 15, 2025 at 10:01 #1727287I see Nardra has been smashed up for this – from 8s when decs were made to 9-4 now.
She was most impressive on debut, but that was in Haydock mud – will the ground be soft enough for her here?

its god to soft all over now but rain has finished for now and doubt it will get any softer
April 15, 2025 at 10:51 #1727291Thanks for the update, @nwalton.
I haven’t had a bet in the race, but found the plunge on the filly interesting.

The more I know the less I understand.
April 15, 2025 at 14:05 #1727302first race time in the sprint 1.99 slow, as Tom Marquand said it wet but they are going through it
April 15, 2025 at 15:35 #1727316I think Cartwheel could outrun her odds, may get a soft lead, may not

I only had one bet today, in the opener. Not my cup of tea this Nmkt meeting.
April 15, 2025 at 15:58 #1727321Cheers Wilts.

April 15, 2025 at 16:31 #1727323Nice Dubawi-eing Rtb. Runner up given a Spencer ride, not complaining. Appleby’s are underwhelming so far but I don’t feel it’s a yard problem, just ones not good enough seen out.
