Feel so sorry for you wasting time and energy on things that aren’t true
You even believe in the Turin Shroud now.
Don’t be so gull(b)ible.Value Is EverythingMarch 11, 2016 at 17:11 #1236933You’re always good for a LOL, Ginge – I say that, as I wipe the tears of laughter from my eyes. It puts me in mind of a photo – those journalists are scoundrels for finding comically-apt photos – of Putin and a colleague, seemingly sitting next to each other at a conference. His mukker guffawing loudly, mouth wide agape, while Vlad looks as if he he’s wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. The photo was above an article in either VeteransToday.com or Sputnik.com, quoting Erdogan, the new Turkish despot, threatening Russia that “there will be consequences”, if Russia doesn’t do such and such that Erdo demands.
Keep it up, mate. A dogged atheism is a gift, of sorts, anyway, at least to saner readers. Glad to hear from you again, anyway.
Oh, and something to cheer you up :
Are you going to blame it on God ? “Pass…” – if you have a single cell of grey matter left, Ginge.
But you should read the comments. Nobody can confidently put even a ball-park figure on the Hiroshima equivalence. But it is at least 3 times worse than Chernobyl, which has already killed a million, simply on the basis of the number and sizes of the reactors, although the whole scenario, including storage of spent fuel rods, etc, etc, and apparent irrecoverability of the corium, adds a further infernal dimension.
And what can your precious scientists do about it ? Sweet Fanny Adams.
March 12, 2016 at 15:54 #1237105Another NDE video-clip…. by a NEUROSURGEON ! Watch it and weep for having such a closed mind. You, too Insomniac.

Oh Grimes,
What do Nuclear incidents have to do with NDE’s/God?
It is – however – enlightening to see what kind of site you look to for your “news”. Fearmongering ones with their own agenda; enenews.com provides nothing of the even handed reasonable debate of a normal “News” service. Just anti-Nuclear propaganda that Greanpeace wouldn’t even be interested in. If only interested in one-sided views then it will not challenge your opinions, but may be that’s what you’re looking for.
If searching the internet for anything that seems to confirm a point of view – then you will find it. That includes God and NDE’s. They will always give a biased opinion for the gull(b)ible.
Value Is EverythingMarch 27, 2016 at 18:49 #1240064Hey Oop, Ginge ! Here’s zummit to get your mad, secular-fundamentalist teeth into. You, too, Insomniac, if you are still interested :
April 2, 2016 at 20:55 #1240702More interesting fare, Ginge. It’s entitled :

April 3, 2016 at 22:32 #1240802Did you have a good Cheltenham, Grimes….???

April 3, 2016 at 23:48 #1240815I wish, Nathan ! Alas, I was told by a ‘force majeure’, as you might say, that I was ‘to knock’ my betting ‘on the head’. I miss it.
The message came in quite a brutal form in a way. I just kept losing on horses that should have won. Also I couldn’t access Nick Mordin’s column. He went to an Irish racing paper (which for some technical, IT reason I couldn’t access, then somewhere else as well, apparently. But by then it was too late. I used to get cracking tips earlier in the year on horses for Cheltenham, Aintree and Royal Ascot. It wasn’t that God objected to my betting but to the amount of time I had to spend studying the game.
I wonder if I’ll be allowed to put small ante=post bets on you horse ??? Have a word in God’s year about it for me, will you.
You sound as if you had a good Cheltenham ! Good luck for Aintree.
April 4, 2016 at 07:41 #1240821God never allowed my older brother to bet which was a bit of a pity as he was quite knowledgeable about his football.
Cheltenham week was good Grimes probably got back a bit more than what I had lost Ante Post throughout the year building up a kitty on Un De Sceaux. The going wasn’t right I think for that one although he does have an Aintree entry, interesting.
I’ll pass on your thoughts to Gord.
Take good care of yourself Mr Grimes.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 8, 2016 at 15:12 #1241475Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, Nathan. Funny about your brother. Life can be like that. Apparently, Jim Reeves, who had a very ‘macho’ baritone voice, preferred to sing in a higher register ! His manager had difficulty sometimes persuading him ! I read of a similar instance recently, but I can’t remember it at the moment.
Well, I had a school-mate who was the top player in virtually all the school’s sports, but didn’t like cricket, because he thought it was too slow and boring. Another lad in West Australia I knew had been WA junior tennis champion, but hated the game, because, he said, he knew he’d never be world champion ! Sorry to hear Un De Sceaux let you down, and hope you will be able to recoup what he owes you ! Though perhaps the price won’t warrant a bet on him.
Funny that capital ‘D’ in his name. Most British people spell using the lower case for the ‘de’ in French aristocratic names, rather as we use a capital for the first letter of the definite article in titles of books, form instance.
Was it you, Nat, who was waiting for a kidney transplant ? If so, it sounds as if it turned out well.
Thanks for telling God I was asking after Him. But you’re the one who needs to look after himself. I’m just an old (expletive of choice), waiting for the boss’s bloke with the scythe and hour-glass now. I wonder if God will use a scyther with a wooden leg, in accordance with what I was told was customary, whenever possible. Well, people will sue for anything these days.Happy days, Nathan.
PS : I tried to copy the fourth emoticon from the right, but could nae do it. They’re some of the funniest ones I’ve seen. How do you insert them in texts ?
April 8, 2016 at 16:01 #1241483This one you mean?……
Just click on young Sir, does the trick for me.Yes, I had my kidney transplant in December 2012. I’ve got my hospital appointment on Monday funnily enough, pee test, blood test, chat up the nurses, doctor says I’m doing well, collect my pills, pop up the second hand shop to see if there are any videos/dvd’s for his lordship my Son then back home in time for a cheese sandwhich, not a bad days work.
Ginger and the lads will say it’s my brain playing tricks on me with the medication but my late mother was with me that day I was going into theatre, I could even smell her.
I’m not sure if Gord got my message but I will bump him again sometime soon. If not than it’s likely we will meet up on Lockinge day in May, your bud Ginger will be there too, I’ll pass on your blessings to him if he lets me get a word in edge ways.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

Tickled pink to hear you’ve got that kidney, Nathan. Also to hear about your Ma. ‘There are more things….’ than Horatio ever kent ; or Ginge. Tee hee!

By gum ! You’re right. It worked. So easy.April 8, 2016 at 23:06 #1241592I think with the ‘de’
It might be because in the racecards online or in the papers they tend to use capital letters for all of the horses name and I’ve just done it with a capital letter, not sure, where’s Drone or Mr Pilsen to correct us, er?….

April 9, 2016 at 15:29 #1241775I think it’s because they are proper names, Nathan. But this is a strange one. ‘sceaux’ means ‘seals’, so it would mean ‘A Seal(s) One’ ! ‘One Of The Seals’ would surely have the plural, ‘Des’, instead of ‘De’. Well, that’s my £0.002. Don’t know why that Scandinavia-type ‘0’ has turned up !!! Still, it does make ‘zero’ seem a bit more interesting !
July 19, 2016 at 18:51 #1256624There’s a documentary on National Geographic tonight at 20:00 (repeated later on) on research into NDE’s. Don’t know what conclusions – if any – it comes to. No doubt if it can rationally explain NDE’s,there will still be plenty who will refuse to accept the explanation.
