The Queen of Longchamp and Chantilly is Goodwood-bound for the Nassau Stakes and I’ll already say right now, unless it’s Firmer than the Champs-Élysées in West Sussex on the day, I absolutely cannot have her beat.

One minute, many racing pundits are doubting her ability to stay beyond a mile, now many have done (yet another) volte face and think she can stay 1m4f.
Thus far, she’s done exactly what I hoped after she stormed home in the Prix Marcel Boussac.
The sire just about stayed an extended 1m2f, the dam won over 1m4f and Blue Rose Cen has bolted in to land the Prix de Diane on top of the Poule D’Essai Des Pouliches.
I wouldn’t entirely rule out her getting 1m4f, but I think it would be a bit of a stretch and, while she goes on Heavy, testing ground on Arc day would increase my stamina doubts.
But 1m2f round Goodwood would be right up her street and they can wheel out whoever they like – Emily Upjohn, Tahiyra, Soul Sister, any of them – and I still don’t see Blue Rose Cen getting beat.

I’m working on course (there full time at the moment during the Uni break) 7am – 2pm every day of the meeting, which means I can stay afterwards and watch all of the racing for free from any enclosure I fancy, marvellous!

If the French horse doesn’t like her holiday to sunny England she should have the rest of these covered
11/10 for BRC after decs? Seems crazy, nashwa has looked a shadow of herself over this trip, BRC looked improved for the 1m2, WFA allowance factored in, unless she hates travelling which is entirely possible i suppose, this has to be a certainty
