Good morning all.
My first job is to note all Class 2 & 3 Handicaps and all Class 1 races. I then discard any that are confined to one age group, or one type of jockey/rider, or less than 5 runners. The remaining races I subject to a method that allows me to rate only a particular section of the field. I use freely available resources to compile my own ratings. To become a selection my top rated per race has to be above 75/100.
After referring to Oddschecker (I have about 10 accounts) I back my selection to win only at level stakes. According to how well I’ve done during the last week the LS will go up/down/remain the same. A * means that Best Odds Guaranteed have been obtained. At the time of bet placement at least five runners must still be declared. I do not lay off in running.
That’s it I think. Let’s see how it goes.

I would not discard a race just because it has one or more 2yo’s in it. I would discard a race that was 2yo’s only though.

Huguenot finished a poor 5th.
There are four races of note tomorrow but I have discarded two already. The War 2.50 is a Class 3 but it’s a non handicap. The Kem 7.50 is a Class 2 but a 3yo’s only non handicap.
The two races left for consideration are the Chep 4.25 Class 3 handicap and the Kem 8.20 Class 1 Listed stakes.These are the two I am on today.
