    Thanks for that info Equitrack.

Ok there are 2 declared today (sunday 25th) from this list.
Firstly, Fountains Cloud in the first at Wincanton. This is over 2m6f and for a young inexperienced horse who looks to have a good cruising speed, i don’t quite understand why he’s running over this trip. His breeding also suggests it will be a struggle, and I certainly wouldn’t advise backing him. If I’m right and he doesn’t last home, hopefully he will be put straight back over 2m next time, although it will need to be a weak race for him to be competitive.
The other is Stevey’s Lad in the 3:55 at Aintree. This time it’s not the tip that has me confused, more the race choice and particularly the venue. He looks a real staying type, and will probably want 3m to be seen at his best, I don’t see Aintree bringing out the best in him. Having said all of that, it’s not a great race for the track, and he can hopefully show that he has a race or two in him.

Fountains Cloud didn’t show up too well today, and I can’t really blame the trip, it wasn’t disastrous but he will need to step up a bit to be competitive, a weak novice around plumpton or similar is what i’m looking for. Stevey’s Lad appeared to need the run and it was all happening too fast for him, I’m hoping for better next time on a stiffer track.

Apologies, I didn’t get a chance to post earlier, but 3 from this list ran today, and we had a winner. Ifandbutwhy was the outsider of 4 (8/1), but won very well at Wetherby, and looks capable of winning again. Kaycee and Barton Alf ran moderately, but conditions for both weren’t ideal, and it’s too early to give up on them yet.
I believe this the current running total to a £1 stake is -£4.50
