    Entries……………

Although he’s been over fences lately, the one I wanted to see in here, Dedicated Hero, gets an entry. He’s a Sandy Thomson horse, so I’d be very surprised if this isn’t a serious target for him.

He was terrible over hurdles when last seem, but I ain’t buying that, and confident that he’s better than that, so started chipping away at 33’s

As could be expected with this, some very nice types in here, with a few plots here and there.

Cracking Rhapsody coming nicely down the weights, and has to be taken seriously, while Caballo De Guerra looks way too big at 40’s. I think that’s a smashing price, and actually considering him Antepost as well

    Dedicated Hero 33’s

Taken the 25s on Dedicated Hero , he was hellish unlucky last time getting brought down and at 25s I’m def playing , he’s going to be a better chaser however he pissed up over hurdles here prev and if he turns up he’ll be miles shorter

    From Kelso:

Twenty-one of the forty-two entries for Kelso’s bet365 Morebattle Hurdle are in with a chance of winning a £100,000 bonus, paid if the winner is able to follow up at the Cheltenham Festival.

Cracking Rhapsody, winner of the bet365 Morebattle Hurdle in 2024 and 2025, is one of nineteen Kelso entries that hold an entry for the County Hurdle on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival.

Dedicated Hero, a former graded race winner at Haydock, is one of four entries that hold a potential bonus-winning engagement in the Coral Cup. Trained in the Scottish Borders by Sandy Thomson, who took the 2023 Morebattle Hurdle with Benson, Dedicated Hero will be reverting to hurdles following a short spell over fences

The Irish challenge is likely to be headed by I Started A Joke. The Charles Byrnes hurdler holds the most entries for the Cheltenham Festival including the Turners Novices Hurdle, the County Hurdle, the Coral Cup and the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle.

    ————————————————————-

Sounds like you can safely bet I Started A Joke at 6s if you fancy him.

Really should leave it with Dedicated Hero, but love this race, and happy to have a second string.

Dedicated Hero a bigger bet here, so would love to see him backed, so I could make a few quid before the off. Can’t just now though

The one I’ve added is Laafi. Bet him a couple of times without much luck, and I’ve deserted the yard a wee but this year, but I liked his run last time

    Dedicated Hero 33’s
    Laafi 25’s

Serious Challenge can be forgiven his last two runs: was amiss in the Greatwood, and failed to stay at Aintree. Before that had a nicely progressive profile, going for 4 in a row when finishing 4 of 14 in a C2 at Sandown. Pace here will be ideal and I have backed him at 11/1 and at 65 on Betfair for the County.

I can’t watch my beloved Wise Eagle over hurdles so I’ll be hiding somewhere in the house that’s tv less.

    Hamlet’s Night 6/1

Winner on the flat last time in a pipe opener for this. Probably ran better than expected. Last race on the NH was a close 2nd to Rubaud who has more than held his own in better races since.

Cracking race this, very competitive as it should be and i’ll be there to see it in person. :yahoo:

    Serious Operator – 40/1 E/W (5 places)

Seen him win here a couple of years ago, dropped in trip today but that could actually be a positive looking at how he travels and finishes.

Just the easy option with Cracking Rhapsody. The hattrick seems possible. Also a save on Laafi who ran a decent race at Leopardstown last time.
