Wilts again and well done Eezer. Simon Holt constantly referred to the winner as Cracking Endeavour until the last mile.

Come someone tell the on course commentator that Bass Rock is pronounced like the jockey David Bass, not as in bass guitar.
I googled Bass Rock and it said the correct pronunciation was bass as in bass guitar.
Assuming Bass Rock is named after the island in the Firth of Forth then it’s pronounced as the fish not ‘base’.
When I was young my family often used to stay in North Berwick, the nearest town to the Bass Rock. In all the times I was there, I never heard a single person pronounce it as Base Rock. As Rob says, it is pronounced as you would say sea bass.
