Chezza reckons the rise of each-way betting, fuelled by extended places, is symptomatic of the ongoing decay of the moral fabric of society.
When The Stranglers asked: “Whatever happened to the heroes?” they were, of course, referring to win only punters.

March 4, 2023 at 10:50 #1637711An open race unless McTigue is monstrously well in which, looking at the pink surrounding his price does not appear to be the case. I’ll put my little ews on Collingham and Cormier.
March 4, 2023 at 11:46 #1637724Bensons last race e has worked out well and he,s a nice e.w price, I fully expect the Mullins horse to win
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 4, 2023 at 11:52 #1637728I had my big bet on McTigue as planned ap, but he’s same price this morning, which is very ominous.
I added Benson yesterday at 16-1, and he’s also a lumpier bet, so this race could be an expensive exercise for me, especially with the vibes for Teddy Blue
March 4, 2023 at 13:27 #1637770Teddy Blue was a good third in the Betfair Hurdle and as a result of that his mark dropped a few pounds. Must have a great chance here. Also had a saver on the outsider of the field, because his last decent run at Navan.
Teddy Blue 6/1
Wajaaha 50/1 EWMarch 4, 2023 at 13:56 #1637780Wd winners.
March 4, 2023 at 13:58 #1637781Fair to say Sandy knows a thing or two about training horses , hope he has a go at Cheltenham
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 4, 2023 at 13:58 #1637782Well done Jeff and HDLG..and Bobby if you had him too. A nicely timed run and he’s beaten a good horse there.
March 4, 2023 at 13:58 #1637783Well played guys, and well done Jeff with that 16’s, with it being a bigger one.
DBR, win or lose that was a fair shout too
Thanks Grass had him covered as a sentimental bet because it was Sandy’s, but Tritonic the main bet for sure
March 4, 2023 at 14:02 #1637784Emmets ran no race after a drift … Fair does not a big one but that’s happened twice now
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 4, 2023 at 15:33 #1637795Thanks all, that was a lovely ride too I thought.
VtC you and Rob have been the flag bearers for Sandy Thomson on here for a long time now, and I’m finally beginning to see why.
I hope that his form continues in the next too
March 4, 2023 at 18:52 #1637835Cracking ride by Ryan Mania. Benson is best when he’s hidden behind others and held for a late run (although he won from the front at Musselburgh!), and Ryan shoved him up the a*** of 3 or 4 before putting him in the clear from last. Won with any amount in hand.
McTigue is a small sort who didn’t impress in the paddock or on course.
March 4, 2023 at 20:09 #1637846WD winners!
For a moment there it looked like Wajaaha could surprise, but he faded in the last furlong. Might have a big run in him at a flat 2m finish.
March 4, 2023 at 20:36 #1637852You got a good spin from him anyway DBR, I thought “Who is that horse?? I hadn’t even considered him” when I saw him bowling along.
March 4, 2023 at 20:53 #1637856Emmets new strategy
Lay the bejesus off his 3/1 fav win and place
Run him half fit so he runs like a drain
Collect
March 4, 2023 at 21:53 #1637857McTigue was plenty fit enough, there just isn’t much of him.
