Definitely a race where I’ll have more than one running for me, but I’ve been planning on betting Saint Roi in this for months, so not only happy to see him get an entry, but also happy with the 20’s.

Plenty of time to pick the backup, and definitely a decision for Final Decs. Not going mad right now on Saint Roi, but comfortable with a few quid at 20’s

    Saint Roi 20’s

    Ballyadam @ 20/1

I thought he ran a very good race in an above average County hurdle last time, could of ran in plenty of big handicaps since then so hopefully he has been teed up for this. I can’t see him being that price if turning up, looks very generous to me.

I remember watching the jockey camera footage of Aidan Coleman and Ballyadam in the County Hurdle, when they finished a creditable fifth.

After pulling up, Coleman said to Rachel Blacmore “They did not go fast enough for him. He will win one of these with a strong pace,”

He should get that at Galway!

I know jockeys are not always great judges but I think Coleman is brighter than most of them, so I have to back the horse at that price. Thanks for highlighting it.

With the stable in form I’ll try Autumn Evening, and also Top Bandit (forgiving his run at Cheltenham as Elliott yard was out of form then), and Vina Ardanza who I think has some juice left in his mark.

I’m in the Ballyadam camp , no horse has won with so much weight since 1999 but the 2 nd top weing is Felix desjny , Felix did me a big favour when he won but if he,s the 2nd best horse in here then Ballyadam really should be going close

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
