Presenting the sports news on Sky News tonight, how long has Mike being doing this?

Is he getting short of racing gigs? I can’t see him progressing to Sky Sports News but was surprised to see him on Sky News.

Hi Steve

Catt has been presenting the sport on Sky News for quite a while, I’ve seen him pop up numerous times over the past year. I haven’t seen him on ATR that much recently, though saying that I hardly watch that channel during the summer months.

He was on ATR recently on the afternoon shift possibly a bank holiday as they had tons of races and he seemed to struggle with the races going off so close together, first time I have seen him doing the sports news as a news reader.

I see him fairly regularly on the 10.25pm and 11.25pm sports bulletins ….. they’re the only ones I tend to see as I flick over for the press preview

I’m sure I’ve seen him on there after he’s done an afternoon shift at the race track

Well his race commentaries were/are dire so i doubt his presenting is any better.
